Summers End

Hi everyone,

Time seems to be getting away from me these days. It has been quite awhile since I have posted and I have to say that I truly miss blogging and visiting all of you that have been so kind to visit me. As I have said before, I am a bit hesitant to post as I am always waiting for inspiration to hit me! So this morning, I went out my door into my yard and of course there was inspiration everywhere! I managed to find a few of summer's roses, morning glories and hydrangeas still determined to bloom and not willing to give in to the seasons change. I found that to be an inspiration in itself.

I am feeling the effects of the world and the terrible situation that we find ourselves in, but still I pick up my paintbrushes everyday and try to create something beautiful in spite of it all. So maybe we are all like the flowers in my garden, just wanting to bring beauty to anyone who happens to see us. As with the seasons changing, I hope that the world changes too and for the better. Remember, there will always be another summer.
