I must have lived in another time as I am so inamoured by 18th century French Fashion. I have recently finished these two painings and have decided to do a series. I just can't stop at two! I sit and dream and wonder, what these two ladies lives were like and to be honest, I would love to take a peek in their closet! From ruffles, to silks with details that are so impeciable, this time period truly is an incredible work of art! I have yet to decide on the names for these paintings which is unusualy for me. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. They will soon be available on my website! Please don's miss my two below, " Claudette" and " Angelique" they are now available as canvas giclee prints at http://www.debicoules.com/

Gorgeous paintings! You've captured the time period!
Deb dear,
Thank you for your kind words and visit to my anniversary party! It means a lot to me that people would take the time to come and wish me well! We have had many years of laughter and challenges as well, but we have always gone through it all together and that is the difference. Deb, I so love your work; I know that you must have an Etsy shop of some kind, but I have a question for you about your work. COuld you email me? I have never seen anyone capture the French women of this fabulous era as I have seen you do; I must own a piece of your work but I have a question....rivani@bethel.edu
When you have a moment....

p.s. the sugar scrub keeps for quite a long time, especially if you use at least one essential oil in your mix that is considered amongst those that have natural anitbacterial properties {like lavender, lemon, orange, etc}.
Beautiful blog you have.;-) Stina
Dear, sweet Deb,
I just came from reading the comments people left today while I was out and I am moved to tears....you know, I had read that you had a yellow lab....MY FAVORITE DOG ON THE PLANET!:) They are God's dog....HEHHEHE!!! They have such a kind demeanor, wouldn't hurt and fly, and all they want to do is love ya' and be your friend! Oh, how we just would benefit if we could and would just celebrate each other....I raise my grape juice glass to you (I'm drinking Welches as I type...) and wish you well and a happy week!
Take care, Anita
