Something Pretty

Hi to all my friends and again sorry that I haven't been in blogland for awhile!Just seems that I am working all the time except when I'm sleeping! I am having fun trying to add romantic verses to my paintings. Since I am not a graphic artist and I can't figure out how incorporate writting if I were to print this piece, I decided to paint it. If you can see on my " Peonies" painting, there is some writting in the background.I am starting to work on photo frames too, something that hopefully touches you. And I am always painting boxes  and panels that I love and never seem to find enought of them!

I hope spring is making it's way to everyone! Trees are starting to bloom here! I just love it! I hope you enjoy looking at a few things I have been working on.

French Fancy

I must have lived in another time as I am so inamoured by 18th century French Fashion. I have recently finished these two painings and have decided to do a series. I just can't stop at two! I sit and dream and wonder, what these two ladies lives were like and to be honest, I would love to take a peek in their closet! From ruffles, to silks with details that are so impeciable, this time period truly is an incredible work of art! I have yet to decide on the names for these paintings which is unusualy for me. The Romantic French Ladies

Where does the time go? I wish I knew! No excuses,just seems that the hours in the day fly by and before I have done only half my daily list, the day is over. Not sure why life is so much busier than years past,. but it is.I have been living in my studio it seems and painting away. My new love is 18th century french fashion ! I can't imagine I would have such a place to wear such exquisite garments, but to dream is fun and paint I must. So here are two of my new paintings " Claudette" and " Angelique". I hope you enjoy them and I promise to be back soon!

Something New and Romantic!

Just thought you might like to take a peek at a few new creations.
I love signs and am always looking for a new way to approach them. So thinking petite, since sometimes I work really large, I came up with this grouping that I just love and hope you do too!


I think it would make a wonderful gift especially since the monogram can be personalized.



I am working on more, always seems like one thing leads to another!

Empty Nest

Hi everyone,

My son is off to college so now I hope to get back to blogland more often!Funny thing, a nest keeps popping into my work! It is a bit lonely with him at school, so I am feeling the sadness of being an empty nestor!I havebeen painting away... I guess work can be wonderful therapy!
