Something New and Romantic!

I love signs and am always looking for a new way to approach them. So thinking petite, since sometimes I work really large, I came up with this grouping that I just love and hope you do too!


I think it would make a wonderful gift especially since the monogram can be personalized.

Empty Nest

Hi everyone,

My son is off to college so now I hope to get back to blogland more often!Funny thing, a nest keeps popping into my work! It is a bit lonely with him at school, so I am feeling the sadness of being an empty nestor!I havebeen painting away... I guess work can be wonderful therapy!

Off to College...My Little "Sweeney"

There is absolutely no excuse as to why I haven't been postingor visiting but I promise not to go on and on...but simply I have just been overwhelmed as they say! My son Matt who is the joy of my life is off to college next week! Being an only child, I know that I am going to suffer badly from" Empty Nest" !! But while he is here and I am still feeling ok, although I sob alot, I would love to share with you a one of Matt's great accomplishments this year! Infact his senior year was incredible for him!! He played the part of " Sweeney" in Steven Sohdeim's " Sweeney Todd in his High school's production.One of the most difficult scores musically and an incredible challenge. The three nights of performances were like going to Broadway as they were nothing less than completely professional! Being members of the Cappy's they received 14 nominations, including Matt for Best Actor! Only 5 schools are nominated out of 34!!There was a grand gala and truly was like the Tony's for High school performances! For those of you who have visited me have seen little snipets of Matt and his performances. But not to sound like a doting Mom, I have to say how truly amazing he was and how incredibly proud of him Iam!I could go on and on as Mom's can easily do, but to those of you who have little one's, enjoy every single second because time truly does fly! French Court Romantic Box

Now available on my webiste. Hi everyone,

I recently found this piece and thought it was so unusual! I was so excited to paint it. Seems like my style is changing a bit these days. Of course I love pink and white, but I think it is important to try new things and explore a new pallet. It actually started with my French Lady Antique Panel a few Posts ago. I call this a Romantic French Box? Sometimes it reminds me of a chair, a throne maybe? I guess it could be used for many things or just placed some where as an Object De Arte.
