French Blue

I hope you are all enjoying a lovely summer! It is never long enough for me. I do have to say that this has been a difficult week! My main comuter completely died!! I woke up to a black screen with a little heart sank! Thanks to my husband Michael, he has been working on retrieving data all week and restoring! Ask me what that is, and I stand behind, I am technically impaired when it comes to the computer!
If it couldn't get worse, my camera also broke and my washing machine??!! There must be something in the air or someone is telling me to take a vacation! With that said, I am thrilled the difficult part of my week is almost over. Akthough. through it all, I must have been feeling blue or painting blue....French Blue!! Ido love blue and yes I do paint ALOT of pink, but I have to admitt, French Blue is one of my favorites as well.
Here are a fewof my pieces I have painted  this week which are all  available on my webiste. I hope you enjoy taking a peek.

A perfect tray for so many things....... maybe to bring some champagne?

A few more pink roses..... for My French Lady.....

Maybe she is  sippping champagne in her.......
and on her nightstand........

a Keepsake Box from someone very special.

and at the end of the day......she might get a delivery from......

a very special romantic!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you a peek of what I have been up to these days. Lots of custom orders, so I really do feel like I am painting....painting....painting!! The heat has been almost unbareable here and with a quite dated central air system, I have relocated my studio to the downstairs which now is giving me new ideas for a permanent move! Seems like the summer is flying by! It always goes too fast! I hope you enjoy taking a peek at what I have been up to!

20 signs! Completely hand cut, hand painted and embellished with crystal rhinestones!
Would love to do french sayings. If you have any ideas, please let me know, I would love to hear them!

I decided to do " Happily Ever After" for my webiste too! Wouldn't it be wonderful!
We can all use a does of Happily Ever After!

I  will also be adding this week, custom name signs to my website.I loved working on this one. I need more hours in a day!  It will be available in two sizes. Again, hand cut and hand painted. I love working on a soft pale blue background. I must give credit to my husband Michael who is the one with his magic saw and meticulious eye that cuts all these pieces! He is amazing and can build anything!

A vintage tray table came to life! Another custom piece I really enjoyed working on!

Roses and Peonies and Birds!

Now for my French Shoes...Marie's Slippers?

Embellished with rhinestones for a touch of sparkle!

As you can see.....I have been painting from sun up till sun down! I still have more and promise to post again soon! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me. I hope to see you all soon!

Something Pretty

Hi to all my friends and again sorry that I haven't been in blogland for awhile!Just seems that I am working all the time except when I'm sleeping! I am having fun trying to add romantic verses to my paintings. Since I am not a graphic artist and I can't figure out how incorporate writting if I were to print this piece, I decided to paint it. If you can see on my " Peonies" painting, there is some writting in the background.I am starting to work on photo frames too, something that hopefully touches you. And I am always painting boxes  and panels that I love and never seem to find enought of them!

I hope spring is making it's way to everyone! Trees are starting to bloom here! I just love it! I hope you enjoy looking at a few things I have been working on.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week!

Photo frames.....that's me!

Perfect for the romantic office!

French Fancy

I must have lived in another time as I am so inamoured by 18th century French Fashion. I have recently finished these two painings and have decided to do a series. I just can't stop at two! I sit and dream and wonder, what these two ladies lives were like and to be honest, I would love to take a peek in their closet! From ruffles, to silks with details that are so impeciable, this time period truly is an incredible work of art! I have yet to decide on the names for these paintings which is unusualy for me. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. They will soon be available on my website! Please don's miss my two below, " Claudette" and " Angelique" they are now available as canvas giclee prints at

The Romantic French Ladies

Where does the time go? I wish I knew! No excuses, just seems that the hours in the day fly by and before I have done only half my daily list, the day is over. Not sure why life is so much busier than years past,. but it is.I have been living in my studio it seems and painting away. My new love is 18th century french fashion ! I can't imagine I would have such a place to wear such exquisite garments, but to dream is fun and paint I must. So here are two of my new paintings " Claudette" and " Angelique". I hope you enjoy them and I promise to be back soon!
